Blast Studio is a London-based company founded in 2018 by designers and architects Paola Garnousset, Martin Detoeuf, and Pierre de Pingon. The studio transforms urban waste into innovative biomaterials, furniture, and architectural elements, merging nature, technology, and design.

From experimenting with living organisms like mycelium to developing Cupsan - a sustainable material made from discarded coffee cups and sawdust - Blast Studio bridges research, craft, and production. Their work spans experimental artworks, public exhibitions, and bespoke commissions, with a focus on creating panels and objects that integrate into architectural and interior projects.

Blast Studio has received the Prix d'Encouragement en Architecture from the French Académie des Beaux-Arts (2020), was named New Talent at the Surface Design Show (2022), became a Loewe Craft Prize finalist (2022), and was selected as one of House & Garden’s Rising Stars of Design (2023).
