musae remedy garden
Collaboration with Baum & Leahy
London & Copenhagen, 2025
Remedy Garden is a modular living system developed by Blast Studio in collaboration with Baum & Leahy, supported by the S+T+ARTS MUSAE programme. The project explores how architectural elements can become active supports for medicinal plants, urban biodiversity, and new forms of ecological care in the city.
The system is composed of 3D-printed clay modules made from locally sourced, discarded clay. Each module is shaped to host plants, retain water, and create micro-habitats for insects and microorganisms. Designed to be assembled into vertical or architectural structures, the modules integrate gardens directly into the built environment, turning walls and urban surfaces into living, productive ecosystems.
Remedy Garden proposes a new kind of urban infrastructure: one that supports resilient plant species, encourages biodiversity, and reconnects architecture with biological processes.
