We created Cupsan, a sustainable bio-material made in London from London’s discarded coffee cups, designed for interiors ranging from furniture to wall paneling. The process begins with shredding and mixing the waste to create a paper pulp, which we mix with our plastic-free binder to form a high density board material. Each square meter of Cupsan recycles around 840 coffee cups, transforming local waste into durable, high-quality surfaces.

  • Cupsan naturally has an organic stone like texture but it can also be finished in order to have a terrazzo like finish. We can also create bespoke 3d patterns for you.

  • Cupsan is dyed in the mass with pigments to obtain various hues from blues and greens to beige and terracotta. We can also bespoke colours for your project.
