tree pavilion
London, 2021
The Tree Pavilion is a speculative architectural project designed to be 3D printed using our living material made from mycelium and discarded coffee cups. It explores how nature and technology can come together to transform urban waste into a structure that grows, evolves, and nourishes. As the mushroom mycelium takes over the recycled material, it blooms across the sculpture, turning waste into food and form. Conceived as a totem for a bio-inclusive city, the pavilion invites people to engage with a new kind of architecture, one that is alive, regenerative, and rooted in circularity.
